The weld ring gasket is applicable to cases where the flange is opened in extremely exceptional circumstances only since any leakage may cause exploration or fire. Unlike other ordinary gaskets, this product is a package of 2 EA / 1 SET. The thickness is varied from 3 to 20 mm depending on the type.
The weld ring gasket secures a 100 % leakage preventive effect as the welding seam is used.
The material is the same as other ordinary flanges. To check if there is leakage prior to welding, a supplementary gasket may be used.
Applicable supplementary gaskets include the spiral wound gasket, serrated metal gasket, and hiflex metal gasket. The weld ring gasket may be used with a processed groove inserted. Such supplementary gaskets not only prevent leakage due to corrosion at a welding part but also are useful for tests to check leakage in pressurized containers, pipes, etc. prior to welding.
Basically, the product image is as below. In the case of K/#WDR-E/F/G Types, the specially designed image may be used to absorb vibration impact on the flange in case of pipe thermal expansion, temperature change, pressure increase, etc.
