Metal Honeycomb SCR Catalyst

Metal Honeycomb SCR Catalyst is an SCR catalyst that uses a metal-type supporter. It has a large contact area per unit volume, and can thus minimize the volume of the catalyst. It provides excellent economy, because it is highly durable, has guaranteed long-lasting performance, and can be remanufactured semi-permanently.

  • Importance of thermal response speed
    • When starting up a gas turbine, a large amount of NO2 is emitted, forming a visible exhaust (the yellow plume). However, the metal honeycomb responds to heat fast, and can thus remove the yellow plume about four-times faster than the existing extrusion-mold catalysts.
